VTR Research Center is an interdisciplinary institution providing facilities for scientist from all over the world. Since 2014, VTR Research Center has provided support to students, professors and researchers in the fields of Geology, Biology and Anthropology. Our support includes fieldwork assistance, proposal writing, peer review and publishing. We believe the interdisciplinary nature of the centre provides scientist a rare opportunity to explore knowledge from other perspectives safely.

Our Mission

To provide a stimulating environment for scientists from all over the world to engage in problem solving research, generate empirical data and transfer skills to local Batswana science students. The Center is a safe haven for scientists to fulfil fieldwork research in Botswana, especially in the most beautiful section of Botswana’s biodiversity rich area - the Chobe Enclave. In turn we believe this will translate into the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals by the Government of Botswana.

VTR Center has helped local scientists collaborate and find partners elsewhere in ways not possible prior to their collaboration with us
